March 2012 Welcome to the work of Contextqueen. I am a design researcher and love to learn from everyday people; how they live their lives and experience the products and services they use or might use in the future. I am specialized in researching people’s everyday experiences and use this for innovation of new products and services. In some projects I work on my own, in other projects I work together with other design researchers, designers, programmers, and various stakeholders. But most of all, I always ‘work’ WITH the users. They are the experts of their experiences, and in that expertise role they contribute to the innovation process. My user participation activities include contextmapping, applied ethnography, home visits, in-depth interviews, facilitation of creative workshops, co-creation processes, and maybe even more important guiding the innovation process with visualisation tools and process management tools.
