My first book (2009) ‘Bringing the everyday life of people into design‘ is my PhD thesis about communicating user insights in business innovation processes. It shows a model how to support inspiration and empathic understanding of user needs through innovation processes. The second book Service Design by Industrial Designers (2013) is a critical reflection of sign of times on the development of service design and how design schools in Europe resonate with it.
